Why BKlear?
Our mission is to provide a hydrating solution that tastes better, is better for the environment, and helps address one of the most pressing public health issues of our time- universal access to clean drinking water.
In the U.S. alone, aluminum cans are recycled at an average of nearly 70% in comparison to just 3% for plastics.

Indiscriminate disposal of plastics on land can lead to the release of toxic chemicals causing public health hazards.
Being exposed to Diethylhexyl Phthalate (DEHP), found in plastic, has been associated with adverse health outcomes.

Funky Fresh Spring Rolls was founded by TrueMan Mcgee in 2013. Born out of a need for healthy food options for his personal training clients, his handcrafted spring rolls quickly outgrew the workouts in demand. After years of growing popularity at milwaukee area farmers markets and festivals, Funky Fresh Spring Rolls opened their first storefront location in the former Grand Avenue Mall in 2018. Later that year, they moved in to the newly rennovated Sherman Pheonix where they continue to strive today.

The outreach and impact that they are planning and doing for the future revolving around sustainability and healthy hydration for not just me, but the world, sold me! It's bigger than just water! I hope through my platform, I can show the world how awesome this company actually is!"
English Gardner is an American Track and Field Sprinter who specializes in the 100 Yard Dash. With a personal best of 10.74, places English Gardner as one of the 10 fastest women ever in the sport. She is a 2x US Champion in the disance as well as a 2x Olympic Medalist in the distance (Gold/Silver) and 2x World Champion Medalist. Born in Philadelphia, later to become a University of Oregon Alumni where she has 5 NCAA Titles and became the first African American 100m Champion at the University. English is currently training for future upcoming games as well as coaching at the University of Princeton working with the Male Sprinters.

Back then, sitting at home with the rest of the world during the pandemic, it seemed impossible. Today, things are vastly different, due in large part to Mahdi and BKlear. Mahdi Is amazing! He shares his time, passion and love for an imperfect world by providing water; arguably the most important resource on our planet. If that wasn't impressive enough, each bottle of "liquid life" is packed in 100% recyclable Aluminum. The only thing better than that is the taste. Drink up!"

The Cleveland native if the Founder of "The Global Response Team", an exceptional group of Highly-motivated and adventurous individuals with a passion for improving the condition of our world and the lives of people least responsible for the worlds most daunting problem...Climate Change.
Mr. Prevention Through Nutrition himself is a community nurse that has spent the last 15+ years focusing his efforts toward the communities that were pivotal in his successes. From Labor and Delivery to Director of Nursing, Nurse Mahdi has used subtle and creative methods to assess the needs of his community.
"My life has always been about service...it comes to me naturally. It's an honor to be able to say that I've held the position as an instructor, USAF Veteran, and of course, a nurse. We need to hit that reset button and get back to basics: Food, water, shelter..." Mahdi Explained "BKlear is our baby. It took a lot of travel, studying and long nights to create this product. We were (I say WE because this is a team effort) able to bottle up the great unifier into a bottle that didn't cause more harm than good! This is our chance to begin conversations around nutrition as well as present a convenient but superior product. We all deserve fresh water and a cleaner earth. BKlear tackles them both!"

The best thing about owning BKlear is that I dont see too many young black men owning the water they sell. Oh, it was super cool to see BKlear help people on different continents!"
